Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) – the medical use of oxygen at a level higher than atmospheric pressure. In the United States, HBOT has been approved by the UHMS Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Committee to combat many diseases and conditions including (but not limited to): Carbon Monoxide and/or Cyanide Poisoning; Crush Injuries; Decompression Sickness; Anemia; Soft Tissue Infections; Lyme Disease; Stroke; and Migraines. IWHC uses HBOT to treat a wide variety of cancers and diseases.
